This page is maintained by MyReno Penang to explain how we handle personal data you share with us. We comply with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).

1. Who we are

2. What we collect

  • Contact details you provide (name, phone, email, WhatsApp number).
  • Property details you share (address, unit size, renovation intent).
  • Figures you enter into our rental recovery calculator and rental strategy quiz.
  • Standard web analytics (pages viewed, device type, referrer) via Google Analytics.
  • Enquiry-form submissions, including your consent record and the page you enquired from. These are stored securely in our own database, accessible only to authorised MyReno staff. If you continue on WhatsApp, only your selections and a short enquiry reference are passed into the WhatsApp message — never your name, email, phone number or written message.

3. How we use it

  • To respond to your enquiry and prepare a quotation.
  • To arrange a site visit or consultation.
  • To send project updates and, occasionally, service information you can opt out of at any time.
  • To improve this website.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We may share it with our sister brands (MyRoom, MyLoft, MyBnB, The Homestay Helper) only when you request rental or property management services from them, and with trusted contractors when a project requires it. Analytics data is processed by Google (Google Analytics).

5. How long we keep it

Enquiry data is kept only as long as reasonably required to respond to your enquiry, discuss a quotation or site assessment, and support any services you request. You can request deletion earlier at any time.

6. Your rights under PDPA

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and withdraw consent to marketing communications, by emailing myrenopenang@gmail.com. We will respond within 21 days.

7. Cookies

This site uses functional cookies (to remember dismissed banners) and Google Analytics cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings without affecting core site functionality.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
